Hibiscus Tea

Hibiscus Tea

You can buy dried hibiscus flowers at the grocery store. We dried them from our garden. I found recipes that added lemon or orange but found it made it too tart/bitter.

ingredients

8 cups water

1 cup dried hibiscus flowers

2-3 inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced

6 all spice berries

3/4 cup sugar

1 cinnamon stick

What To Do

Bring water and everything else except hibiscus to a slow boil until sugar dissolves.

Add hibiscus flowers, turn off heat, cover and let steep for 5 minutes.

Strain and enjoy.
