I am partially ashamed to admit that I am not a huge fan of s’mores. I love all the ingredients, but when I bite into one expecting it to be a ooey gooey graham cracker-marshmallow-chocolate sandwich of perfection, I can’t help but be disappointed when the chocolate is still cold and semi hard. If you are a s’more making pro and know how to fix this, please inform me. That’s probably why I’m in love with this dessert dip; the melted chocolate HAS to happen because, well, it’s in the oven. Make this dip and be transported to adolescent heaven.
Note: Photoshop was not used in this photograph. The marshmallows truly come out of the oven toasted to perfection.
Ingredients
Hershey chocolate bars or chips
Nutella (cuz why not)
Marshmallows, cut in half
Graham crackers
What to do
Preheat oven to 450*.
Line the bottom of a cast iron pan with chocolate bars or chips and add nutella on top if you feel like it. Place halved marshmallows on top. Bake for 7-9 minutes until the marshmallows are brown. Let cool for a few minutes then use graham crackers for scooping.
