Stupid Easy Chocolate Molten Lava Cake (Gluten-free or gluten-full)
I got a serious craving for chocolate, and nothing quite put it to rest like these chocolate lava cakes can. Trying to avoid gluten, I used almond flour instead of regular flour and honestly, you couldn’t tell the difference. Original recipe found here.
Ingredients
1 cup powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
6 Tbsp almond flour (or regular all-purpose flour)
1 pk (4 oz) BAKER’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/2 cup butter
Vanilla Ice Cream
What To Do
Heat oven to 425*
Butter 4 small custards cups, fill with sugar and turn to coat entire glass (so cake doesn’t stick) and place on baking sheet.
Microwave chocolate and butter in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH for 1 min or until butter is melted; whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar, add whole eggs and egg yolk; mix well. Stir in flour. Spoon into prepared cups.
Bake 13 minutes or until edges of dessert is firm but centers are soft. Let stand 1 minute then carefully run knife around cakes to loosen and invert into dessert plates (be careful cups will be hot). Serve with your favorite vanilla ice cream.
