Chicken with Sherry Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts (I used cooked chicken)

salt pepper

2 Tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic

8 oz sliced mushrooms

1 cup dry shery

1/3 cup heavy cream

1/2 tsp thyme

What To Do

Heat oven to 350*

Melt a Tbsp butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic then add mushrooms. Generously salt and pepper and toss until mushrooms are evenly coated with butter. Cook for 2 minutes. Then add remaining sherry. Let mushrooms simmer for another 4 minutes. Stir in cream and thyme. Let sauce reduce for 5 minutes then add chiekn back to skillet. Place skillet in oven for 30 mins until chicken is heated up. Serve with egg noodles.
