Chula Seafood Thanksgiving
Honestly couldn’t have made these sides better (and with less stress) if I tried. Noting this in case I want to make it myself. On the menu this year was:
Clam & Chorizo Stuffing - had sweet potatoes in it, slight heat, so good.
Crab Mac N Cheese - mac n cheese with blue crab and tomato cream on top broiled for 4 minutes.
Creamed Spinach - garnished with crispy shallots.
Wedge Salad - I wish I had eaten this for lunch. I was so stuffed from the other food but it was phenomenal. Baby icebeg lettuce, shrimp remoulade (WHAT WAS IN THIS - dill, celery seed, garlic), dried corn, pickled onions, bacon, marinated shrimp (so good).
Noble Kona Rolls with spiced apple butter
Roast Turkey - made myself. Skipped the gravy - not worth th effort with all the other food and didn’t miss it.
